The Nike Air Yeezy II Skate Test

This past month, Nike Sportswear released one of the most hyped sneakers of all time, the Nike Air Yeezy II. The shoe, designed by Kanye West, is a follow up to the original Nike Air Yeezy, which saw after-market prices skyrocket to upwards of $10,000.

In collaboration with Quincy Design Co. & Phenom, local Minneapolis skateboarder Anthony Hart put the shoes to a skateboarding wear test, to not only demonstrate how they held up, but to shatter the hearts of so many sneakerheads and to showcase the true purpose of what the kicks are meant for - wear and tear.

Take note, there's a lot of attention to detail within the video, so you're best to watch it a few times (in 720p, of course).

The Nerdery's Overnight Website Challenge

West African Medical Missions is a non-profit organization, based out of Minnesota that empowers and strengthens the citizens of West Africa through health education, leadership development and community outreach. On the other hand, 'Two Unicorns, One Moon' of TST Media, is a highly skilled team specializing in the execution of world-class sports content strategy, design, marketing and technology.

These two organizations recently collaborated on a successful effort in the 'Nerdery Overnight Website Challenge' to create a website for WAMM within 24 hours on the behalf of 'Two Unicorns, One Moon'. The end result was a first place finish in the contest; here's a video to further illustrate the commemorative efforts of both parties.

SLAM Magazine 157: Rubio x Love - 'Behind the Cover'

Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love are featured on the cover of SLAM Magazine's issue 157, which pays tribute to a cover from the 1997-98 season that graced Kevin Garnett and Stephon Marbury - whom were the Wolves' dynamic duo. In this video, we go 'Behind the Cover' and give viewers a look at the Atiba Jefferson, directed photo shoot.

2011-12 All-Star Weekend | Timberwolves All Access

The 2011-12 All-Star Weekend, featured three Minnesota Timberwolves this season; Ricky Rubio, Derrick Williams and Kevin Love. Each Wolves player spent their weekend by making the rounds through various media circuits and participating in basketball events for the crowds at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

I shadowed the foot steps of each Wolves' throughout the weekend festivities and put together an 'All Access' feature or 'behind the scenes' take for each players' All-Star experience.

Wired: Derrick Williams

Timberwolves' rookie, Derrick Williams, took part in the inaugural NBA Cares Special Olympics Unity Sports game over the 2011-12 NBA All-Star Weekend. Additionally, this game featured 22 year old, Anthony Nunn, a Minnesota representative for the event, which Williams has mentored along the way.

For the occasion, I mic'd up D. Will as he played the coaching role and lead his West squad to a competitive battle against the East team, which featured various NBA legends.
