The Nike Air Yeezy II Skate Test
Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 9:46PM This past month, Nike Sportswear released one of the most hyped sneakers of all time, the Nike Air Yeezy II. The shoe, designed by Kanye West, is a follow up to the original Nike Air Yeezy, which saw after-market prices skyrocket to upwards of $10,000.
In collaboration with Quincy Design Co. & Phenom, local Minneapolis skateboarder Anthony Hart put the shoes to a skateboarding wear test, to not only demonstrate how they held up, but to shatter the hearts of so many sneakerheads and to showcase the true purpose of what the kicks are meant for - wear and tear.
Take note, there's a lot of attention to detail within the video, so you're best to watch it a few times (in 720p, of course).
